On Saturday, 29th November a great crowd gathered at Ulva School for the St Andrew’s Night Ceilidh, in support of the Housing Project.
Many thanks to the band: Iain Thomson, Anne MacDonald, John Archbold, Billy McClymont, and Sandy MacAulay, who did a great job! Many thanks, too, to Jeannie MacColl for another splendid raffle. In total
£232 was raised.
The first Bingo Night of the autumn was held at Ulva School on 17th October, and then a change of location was tried out for 1st and 21st November.
The Salen Hotel has proved to be a great venue for these fun nights: nice and central, cosy and hospitable. We are very grateful to Gerry and Claire Ralston for the use of the room. Many thanks to Jeannie MacColl for organising the nights, which have brought in a fantastic £467 towards the Housing Project!
